ActivelyLearn - free for the rest of the year.  Import your own content to make interactive content.  6th - 12th grade specifically. Again, this resource is usually a “paid for” subscription that FCDS will be unable to purchase in 20/21.

Figurative Language Worksheets - just like the name suggests. All in PDF - can be adapted for online. 

Figurative Language Google Slide - editable, just  make a copy (simile, hyperbole and 4 more terms.

CommonLit - Grades 3-12 - reading passages and responses including fiction and non-fiction. Integrated with Google Classroom.

Literacy Nest Blog, phonics, writing, Numerous OG activities; free during school closures

Ditch That Textbook - many resources, work-arounds, plans and templates that can be imported into Google.  Graphic Organizers and Digital Notebooks included!

MyShakespeare - plays, info etc. for remote teaching

Earthday Wakelet - resources for all levels on Earth Day.

Poetry and Short Story Database - full text to thousands of poems and short stories through our online database that can be sent to students! Username and password located in your Oncampus Library Page.

Trueflix - Through Scholastic.  Username is Learning20 and password is Clifford.  Offering hundreds of units to supplement social studies and science core curricula learning it is a highly-engaging multimedia resource that can be used in the library, the classroom, on mobile devices, or at home

Noredink - One of my favorites, but it is super expensive to sustain after the free trial.  Grammar practice and assessments. 

American Literature - classic short stories.

KQED - a forum to discuss topics across the world.

OpenUp - ELA curriculum mapping, lessons and activites for 6-12
